Numerology & its Flaws
Being a student of astrology, as a part of studies Sanjay also studied Numerology with keen interest and followed it for a few years too. But his practical experience was otherwise and soon the futility of Numerology dawned upon him. When he further deliberated and meditated over it, Sanjay realized that Numerology is totally based on man made system of alpha numerical, that also restricted to just one script Roman and one numbering system, the decimals. We have discussed in detail here, as why we don’t advocate numerology very much, which we urge you must read. Again, here we would reiterate it in brief that a human being is made of three energies, one is mother’s, two is father’s, and third is the divine. That’s why we say, we were blessed with a child. So like humans, their further creations are also not possible without the divine support. So we should shun the numerology which is based on man made system, and follow the heavenly Vedic system that’s controlled by the divine.
Can we change the path or pace of a planet? We can’t. But we can manipulate the name’s spelling by adding some extra alphabet because the alphabets are man-made, thereby mocking the divine. But we can’t change the sound of our name by doing that. Because Sound is natural, that’s controlled by the divine. So by merely adding or deleting a letter which are made by an English man, we can’t make ourselves ‘bad-luck’ proof disregarding the divinity.
One important thing here is NUMEROLOGY in The Vedic System is different which is calculated by numbers assigned to various planets. We are not talking about it. And in Vedic Numerology, your numbers are assigned at birth, you can’t change them by changing spellings.
But people follow, and some people benefit hence practice continues and then people follow. Nobody thinks in a different direction. That’s the tendency. But Sanjay’s experiences made him think differently and that’s what he shares here with all.
